Trains & Parks of Colorado

September 15th-23rd, 2012

Tour Highlights

Durango & Silverton Railroad • Cumbres Toltec Railroad • Pikes Peak

Mesa Verde National Park • Cliff House • Wine Country Inn

The Warther family has personally designed an adventure through majestic Colorado, the premier destination for rail excursions. This nine day fully guided tour features amazing trains, breathtaking scenery, fantastic hotels and great food. One of our encounters will be an outdoor western barbecue dinner served on a mesa. Be inspired by the views as we chug along the cliffs of the San Juan Mountains, on the Durango Silverton Steam Train. Explore Mesa Verde National Park and actually climb into the cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Pueblo people who made it their home for over 700 years. Some of our accommodations include the Wine Country Inn, complete with a Wine Maker’s dinner, and the Cliff house at Pikes Peak, a premier “Four Diamonds” Historic Country Inn.
