Sixty Miles of Excitement!

Day One: Travel Day, arrive to host hotel, welcome reception, break before dinner. Presidential Dinner at the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum.

Day Two: Breakfast at Inn, then depart with guide for an amazing Akron Experience! See where Goodyear Tires got their start, visit the Biltmore of Ohio, Stan Hywet Hall, Soap Box Derby Site, and have lunch on your own at Quaker Square, site of the original Quaker Oats Factory. Take a ride on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, and finish out the afternoon with a delicious shopping stop at Harry London’s Chocolate Factory. Following a break at the Inn, we will depart for a fabulous performance and dinner at the Carousel Dinner Theater.

Day Three: Depart after breakfast at the Inn for the Pro Football Hall of Fame where you can experience “Game Day, the Movie”. Then it’s off to MAPS (Military Aviation Preservation Society) where you can sit in a MIG fighter jet and view the restoration of rare WWII planes. (Airshow 3rd weekend in June!) Lunch will be on your own at Menches Brother’s, creators of the hamburger and ice cream cone! We will also visit Canton Classic Car which showcases the evolution of the automobile along with fascinating Canton memorabilia. After a break at the Inn, we will head to Dover to the amazing Warther Carvings, Gardens, and Knife Shop for a private guided tour of the priceless steam engine carvings by the World’s Master Carver, Mooney Warther. Enjoy a candlelight dinner in the Ivory Room surrounded by the works of art. Following dinner you can visit the knife sales and gift shop, the only place in the world where you can purchase the fine Warther Kitchen Cutlery. Stroll through the Swiss Gardens to Mrs. Warther’s button house filled with over 70,000 buttons arranged in artwork. This event is a must-see, and a major highlight of the trip!

Day Four: After breakfast depart for the World’s largest Amish settlement to visit Yoder’s Amish Home and Farm for tour and buggy ride. A country side tour of the farmlands with follow with stops at one of our local cheese factories and an Amish bakery. Your taste buds will come alive during our lunch feast at either Dutch Valley or Der Dutchman featuring the best in Amish Kitchen Cooking. We will then be treated to our own private Antique Road Show at the Riverfront Antique Mall in New Philadephia featuring over 80,00 sq. ft. of awesome collectables and memorabilia. After a leisurely lake cruise, dinner will be at the Atwood Lake Resort Lodge.

Day Five: Depart area following breakfast.
